Former Long Island Ducks pitcher Ehren Wasserman has retired from baseball and has taken a job as the pitching coach for the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League.
Wasserman had a 4-1 record with a 2.57 ERA, and 11 saves for the Ducks last season. From 2007 to 2008, he pitched in 57 games in the major leagues for the Chicago White Sox.
Wasserman finished his career playing in the Mexican Winter League for the Mayos de Navojoa this past winter.
A special thanks to Howie Kaplan for sending me the news about this.
